In order to be admitted to the patent attorney training, you need to hold a degree in a science or technology discipline, e.g. in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or biology. It is precisely these degrees that add value to our team when we are tasked with professionally handling inventions. Completion of the training will qualify you for the profession of a German Patent Attorney as well as European Patent Attorney. This job of a patent attorney broadly encompasses the evaluation of inventions, preparation of patent applications, observation of competitors, as well as representation of clients in court.
